components on type r speakers

im thinking of getting type r speakers or type x 6 1/2 speakers with components. i have no idea what components are, do or how to hook them up? where do they go? and where does the tweeter go

Put them in the factory speaker hole.

Or put them in custom fiberglass pods aimed at your head.

Rig up somthing to mount the tweeter over the woofer, like one of those metal straps you use to anchor the back of a HU.
