I would like to know if someone can help me with picking some Component speakers. Im not looking for my wallet to be empty, but looking for good SQ im goin to be powering them wit a old PG 800W 4 channel amp... So here is what im thinking. I can get a good deal on Pioneer Components. These: http://pioneerusa.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4067_35027,00.html

Ive had Pioneer speakers in the past and they work and sounded good. But i also am thinking of MB Quarts Premium Series. A friend on mine has them and they sound clear and nice. But i cant get a good deal on these..So i dont know what to do. I can get 2 sets of pioneer's for 250.00 (Total the ones up there). What im not looking to go over is 300 for 2 sets...Now can someone give me there imput on these or can someone give me there input on another brand for Loud,Clear, and good SQ sounds and not goin over 300.00 for 2 sets???..Ohh just so you know my HU is the Pioneer DEH-P860P...

Thanks

well, one set of components and one set of coaxials would give the best imaging. My suggestion... 1 set of cdt cl-61a and a 1 set of cdt cl-6x. The cl61a's are a great set of components for the money...i have owned them...and love them...and STILL stand saying that NOTHING in there price range will beat them. Also, the cl6x's are a great set of coaxes for rear fill...though they are reall not needed...my friend has a 4 door sedan w/ 100 watts rms going to his cl-61's and no rear fill...sounds exquisite. peace

p.s. check them out at http://www.thezeb.com

Don't waste your $$ on a set of comps for the back unless you are doing a 5.1 surround sound thing. You don't need rear fill......plus, then you could double the amount of $$ your going to spend on the front //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

In my car i heard the sound w/o rear speakers and i dont like the way it sounded...so that's y i want to get rears in there wit tweeters...I was thinking about what you said b4 and after i heard it w/o them i didnt like it.....

Then atleast only get co-axials.....but don't waste the $$ on another comp set. And yes, co-axials have tweeters //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yea but wouldn't it be better with the extra comp. for surround sound or for better louder, clear???? im looking for SQ with it being loud...

Unless you like fading the signal all the way to the rear.....you probably won't really hear the rear speakers too often. If you have a decent comp set up front, they should be handling most of the work and they should be mainly what you hear. The rears should only be there for a little bit of ambience or to help the rear passengers hear better.

Also, if you were truly going for SQ then you wouldn't want to run any rears //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif But if you like them, that's your preference, and I can't change that.

If you want loud SQ, then take the money saved, and get a better amp and some better components for up front.

One set of $300 components will sound much better than 2 sets of $150 components.

That amp is still kicking...no reason to spend when i already have one that works...yes down the road when i upgrade the system yea i will get a new amp....But this is just the first stage system

Yes, just get some co-axials for the rear. This will also allow you to increase your budget a little for the front component speakers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You don't need rears. In SQ competitions, you will loose points if any sound is coming from behind you. You may like having rear speakers, which is fine since that is your preference, I'm not trying to argue with you about what you like. But liking rear speakers is a whole lot different than needing rear speakers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
