Keep in mind, though, that midbass has more to do with the install than the driver itself. Just study up here and learn about good install techniques and sound deadening. That should get you started off on the right foot.

 
Read the tutorials for the whole scoop, but here's the Reader's Digest version.

1. CLD Tiles for 50% coverage of the panel to reduce vibrations and seal off any openings in the door panel (This is what most people refer to as "Dynamat")

2. MLV/CCF for the remaining coverage and the real aspect of sound deadening. It's also cheaper than buying loads of CLD tiles
