Has anyone any experiences with these 3? If there isnt a big difference between the 3 I would get the least expensive. But if theres a big difference I would go with the most. Thanks a lot.

i've listened to teh alpine type r's.....and in my opinion they are pretty nice sounding.....however i'd save up and get the kodas....ohh wait thats what im doing...heh...peace

Yea I've heard mixed reviews about the Alpine Type R's. The $132 price tag though is drawing me. I just want to know if their is a huge difference between the 3 cause I'm looking for real good SQ from my speakers and I want them to get loud without distortion.

Yea I know they are thats why I am considering them but I'm wondering if they are so much better to warrant them to be more than twice the price of the Alpines and $110 dollars more than the Infinitys. I know that Adire has awesome subwoofers so that also puts me in that direction but I haven't heard too much about their components. Does anyone here have a set of Kappas or Kodas or has heard either or both? Thanks Goddy for your replies!

I would go with the Koda's. You may not like the sound of the Alpine Type R's at all. The Infinity's are too common, be different, and go with the Koda's...from what I have heard, they are supposed to be one hell of a speaker. Do it right the first time, or Im afraid you will kick yourself very hard in the *** later on...

Yes you are right about Kappas being very common. It seems that not many people have the Kodas and I wonder why not if its suppose to be so great. I think I am gonna go ahead with the Kodas though. Thank you very much.

well the kodas are supse to beat the kappas esaily. and if you odnt get kicks all the better the kodas are designed to work with acceptional preformance in stock locations.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Would the US Acoustics USX4085 be a good amp? For rearfill should I get Koda 6 midbasses to compliment the components? I want some rearfill but not enough to mess up the front stage. If not those than which?

well any rear fill will throw off the sound stage.......if u get the koda mid bass id suggest putting it in the door and have the koda comps in kicks....and 4085 is a nice amp.....us acoustics makes some nice amps.....

Hmmm....See I was going to go ahead and not get kicks and just put them in the door. I'm just gonna start out with no rear fill and if I need it I can add it later. No use in paying for something I might not want or need. I'm gonna go with the 4085 though just incase I do decide to add some rearfill later so that I don't have to go out and buy another amp. Sound like a good idea?

never hurts to be prepared......and u can probably still go w/ them in the factory locations.....if u wanna add some more up front u could always modify your door slightly to hold the dedicated mids....

Ok thank you for all your help. Hopefully I will be getting the car I want and that I can install all of my stuff asap. As soon as I do, I will let you all know how it sounds. Thanks again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
