Ok so here is what i did. I went and fried one of my tweeters in my kappa perfect 6.1 comp set by being stupid. I have a thread in the WTB section for a tweeter but something tells me that im not gonna find one. So Here are my questions. Does anyone know of a good tweeter set that would work good with the perfect mid and x-over? Option 2: Should i keed the Mid Drivers and get an active? x-over and a new set of tweets.(will this work?). Option 3: just scrap the whole thing and get a new set of components. If I buy a new set of comps its gonna have to be around $350 and I have a 150x2 at 4 ohms to push them.

I should point out that if i go with a new set it will be a last resort and prob wont happen for a lil while unless someone has a nice used set.

Depends on how much you liked them I guess. If you like them, try to replace the tweeter. If you didn't like them that, go for something different.

Tried contacting Infinity to see if you could purchase a replacement tweeter?

If you want to try something different, there will be a lot of options in the price range you mentioned.

Heck, depending on how old they are, you might even be able to get it covered under "warranty". They've been known to warranty unauthorized products before. Play your cards right and you may be able to score it for free.

Thanks for the input guys. I still cant believe how stupid i was when i fried it. Funny thing is the car doesnt sound too bad even with the tweet blown.
