When using a component set, in my case a infinity perfects, do you need to set the high pass crossover ON THE AMP (ie 80hz) or should i leave it off (full range)...because...i'm not sure if the supplied SPEAKER CROSSOVER already take care of that?

Basicly, I know the speaker crossover sets the seperation frequency for the mid and tweet, but does it bandpass for the mid too? Thanks

In almost all cases no, it doesn't bandpass the mids. So yes, you'll need to run the amps highpass on them as well.

Yep. Rarely if ever will you find a bandpass passive X/O on the mid. Only time you really see that is in three ways, where the midrange is bandpassed, but then you still have to highpass the woofer.
