JL 13W6v2 with a Orion 1200D running at 2 ohs(725WRMS) in a 1.625cu sealed box running 2 batteries, a 200A alternator and as big wire as I can fit... Any wild guesses on how loud it will be???

It will be loud for JL, do you already own this setup or are you looking for what will be the loudest? If you can fit a bigger box, do so and make sure its ported.

I'm baffled by your beefed up electrical system for such relatively low power. Just because you have all that stuff isn't going to make it much louder. If you want it to be loud port it, thats about all that can be said. You aren't going win any comps with it thats for sure. I would guess you will pull like a 159 or so on the TL.

actually, there is no such thing as overkill on the electrical system. mine is pretty beefed up and i only run a single 700w amp. i am positive that with a stock electrical system, i could not do what i do with my small amp.

110A alty, dual deep cycles(1300CA) 1/0 wiring.

this is in the cavalier, the caddy has the stock 140A alty

I was being sarcastic.

Ok so it may not be bad to have headroom, but having headroom will not improve your output. Hell even the slight gain in watts from an increase in current is so small, many times its not worth it. Plus your 110a alt is no where near his 200. I also have 1/0 ran through my car, and i'm only running a ss ref 604. I simply stated that his super beefy electrical system is not going to make his single sealed 12 much louder with that little of power.

Erm just to let you know, I'm not sure that any single sub has ever hit 159 on the TL....especially sealed with 700 watts.

probably not to the ear, but every little tenth counts. i gained .2db from running 1/0 straight into the amp, about 12" for power and ground.

if i ran 4 awg from the stock battery, using the stock alty, straight to my opti200.2(which is way more than enough for 380w)....i wouldn't be at a 150, plain and simple //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
