component amp setting questions?

First off, I am running a rockford 200.2 to power my components. I need a few questions answered.

I am looking for the best sound or best mid bass response from my components, so:

Should i run a HPF on the amp,Or should i run the amp at full?

Also, if i do use a HPF, what should i set the crossover to on the amp?

I just want the best all around sound from my components, thats why i ask.

i have mine on full but i used the hu crossovers. i have mine set at 80.

HPF at 80-100Hz. Radio EQ set, volume at ~75%, crank the gains until they distort, and then back it out 8-10%.

your comps "might" have a HPF built into the xover, so dropping to 80Hz or below might not make any diff. Only way to tell is try it out and see if you get more midbass out of them...
