completing this system

so far, my system includes the following

panasonic 983u hu

kappa 5 1/4 comps rated @ 85 rms

kapppa 5 1/4's rated @ 55 rms

xtant 50 x 4 amp

I am stilll deciding on a sub. My ques. is: should i use the xtant 50 x 4 to power the comps and 5 1/4's, then get a separate amp for the sub OR use the xtant to power the 5 1/4's and bridge the other two channels to power a sub. then get a 75 x 2 amp to power the comps.

i dont really want mindblowing bass, just clean hitting. i'm thinking about one 12" or two 8". budget is $250-350 for sub and amp.. ........... please any advice would help.

Sorry, don't have an answer but a question for you: how much have you spent on all that you've got right now? I'm just getting into cars + car audio and the setup you have looks like something (I think!) I'm looking for, even with regards to what you want in a sub.

I would use that amp on the comps....Then get an amp and sub...For 300 you could have both of those...Try a 12K...

Get 1 of the dual 12k's and a hifonics 1000...Then later on you could get another K...

infinity kappa 50.5cs--------- u can find them under 200

these were given to me.

infinity kappa 52.5i----------- under 200

xtant A4004t ----------- sounddomain is selling this for under $250 right now. thats great for an xtant amp
