Well, you're gonna need the proper xover. What's your budget, personally I'd send the xxx mids off to madisound, and have them design and make a xover paired with a tweeter for ya! Then you'll have the perfect comp set for what you have! Then, from there...look at some nice 2channel amps and a sub amp for the 18xxx. Also, look at your electrical, big 3 upgrade, replace your stock battery, possibly alternator if it's feasible! peace18xxxx sub ( 10.7 cubes tuned 28)bp1200.1

Hmm...gonna be tight...300 bucks is my budget.i already have an amp for the sub..
Check out the website, talk to RE AND Madisound to what type of tweet they owuld recommend...giving them specs of the XXX6.5, and it'll be killer for real!so i should send in my 2 6.5 xx's in for a custom crossover. But they will select the tweets for me???Cause i was thinking of getting two more 6.5 XXX's, having a total of 4. what tweets are they gonna hook up.
Um.....it would work fine.Unless you can get some 2ohm tweets the custom xover setup won't work.
I too would go with an active xover setup. Passive xovers are designed to optimize the performance of the speakers, but actives allow you to optimize the performance of the speakers in the install. The xover points used in the passive may not be (and 99% of the time are not) the best xover points once the speakers are installed in your car.I would use an Active xover, that way you don't have to worry about the 2ohm XXX6.5" midbass. Then get a 4 channel amp that will run 2 channels @ 4ohm (for the tweets) and 2 channels @ 2ohm (for the XXX6.5").
