my inspiration came from when I went to minnesotas loudest. It was ******. Thats why I started to get into car audio. I never asked anyone how loud they were hitting but with some of the windows and roofs flexin like they were it mustve been pretty loud.

Probably wherent 150's on music but a couple could have been...

Flex is actually a weakness in a car. Many view it as "loud" or even "amazing" but it is not. Also, every vehicle will have different requirements to make flex.

For your application, if you dropped a couple 12s or 15s or a good single 18 with an enclosure that is designed/built correctly you would be amazed at the output it would generate.

Also, the "loud" you are talking about is tuned lower so cone area plays a factor there as well. The key is to move air to get flex or to do hair tricks.
