Dude, you've come into this thread and spouted out 80 different opinions when the OP has given very little information. You've recommended every company from Audiopulse to RE Audio & everything in between. You started talking about electrical upgrades when there's been hardly any information regarding the subject. You said Level 4s will need this & that as far as electrical is concerned and and then followed that up by recommending a $730 pair of subs that require even more power than the level 4s.im a newbie, i have been doing car audio for about 10 years now and have done millions of installs
Yes, the guy will need around 2,000 watts rms in order to get good results from a pair of Level 4 subwoofers. A Kinetik HC2400 would be sufficient for that amount of power (and a nice multi-channel for mids & highs). Once he gives info about the power of his alt, I'll recommend an upgrade if he needs one. Ya see, I answer the questions as they come. I don't jump from one topic to another like a 7 year old...you are telling this man to add batteries when you dont know what he has charging them, your system man source of power is from the alternator man, the more batteries the more loads you add to your system, i have seen my fair share of crapped alt, also the main reason for blown amps are either people blurping them or being underpowered, my best friend repairs millions of amps and i can tell you from experience
Yup, the Sundown SAZ-2000d can be had bnib for $350. Wait a minute, no it can't. Not from an authorized dealer.thats fine the level 4 is an amazing sub no doubt, but get a sundown 2k for 350 new lol, i would rather grab a memphis amp for the price of a sundown
okayhe started with 2 kicker subs, i wanted him to see there are many great subs out there, i want him to do his research and not just go and buy what me and you say, maybe go listen to these subs at shows etc, what might sound great to our ear might not sound great to him, we also do not know what it is going in which makes a huge deal
