what if you want to go to a comp but you know you would be crushed?

I can't travel much and there are almost no shows out here in the badlands of new mexico. i am thinking about asking Audio Express in Santa Fe to help me set up a show but my system couldn't win on looks, or SPL, i have a slight chance at sound quality but my car is so old it rattles like a baby toy.

Well, surely you can check out the local stereo shops in your town and the surrounding towns and see if they would be interested in starting a little show and shine or something to generate interest. It would bring in business for them and might help for others to show off their goods. A meter is all they would need. Ask them....
