comp or coaxil

COMPS!

usually (from what ive heard) the high end companies that make comps have their 'low end' and 'high end' and i suppose the low end ones will always be better than the cheap $50 pair, but im getting my cdts on thursday. from what ive heard. go comps all the way. you can change the frequencies unlike coaxial. you have dedicated midbass and high, overall quality is much better than "sell more worth less" idea that companies like rockford, audiobahn, and pioneer have.

so get comps. =)

quality really doesn't have much to do with the difference...there are excellent coaxials out there and really bad comp sets, just because they're comps doesn't automatically make them better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

if u are going to do a small amp 50x2 ish or HU power i say get the cdt coax's but if u wanna do a more power full amp dont get those cheapo comps off ebay save your cash and spend 150ish a nice decent set.

well im just gonna stick with the CL-6X up front. cause i don't have that much money right now.should i high pass the coaxils? what would be the optimum freq to high pass these at?

would it hurt them to pass them at about 60-70hz when i get my 15 back. cause my hcca didn't really go much over 50-60Hz. its kinda weird cause my cheap sonys are loud all the way to alittle over 80 by the expensive orion don't like high notes.

well if the sub didn't play over 50-60, wouldn't i want to do them lower around 60-70, so the two can kind of blend together in the middle? if i did them at 100-120 i'd have a "hole" in my music from about 50 to 120hz. . . wouldn't i?
