Comments on 8" Subs

Pros: Small enclosures and you get the "ahhhh" factor when you show ppl you have a bunch of 8's

Cons: Don't typically hit lows very well, takes alot of them to get loud

---------

I ran (3) GTO804's in ~2cf tuned to 29Hz in my 300ZX last year. They were great from about 35-75Hz. The lows weren't hit with any "enthusiasm" (obviously..I mean they werent designed to) but they did great on midrange and got loud enough for me. (I say that coming from a W10GTi tuned to 28Hz)

I have a Diamond CM308D4 pending install in my current car (replacing stock sub).

depends on how loud you want it, you can get a 6.5 to hit low.

try 1, 8" with a ported box and go from there.

8's DO hit lows, you just have to have the right 8's and box. I run 4 Assassin 8's in a ported box and they def hit the lows. I've out hit 12's and 15's and 10's with my four 8's and everytime you show someone what you have you get that "FOUR 8'S //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif " factor. Def go with the 8's man!
