no ive seen the 500/1 on a o-scope. and know it puts out a little over 600. and the 12w7 is rated for 750w so theres no problem there. and as long as you tune it there wont be any clipping.for a year i ran a 1000/1 on a 12w6v2. never had any problems. its all in properly setup gains. with a 500/1 on a w7, you will end up clipping the shit out of it and blowing that woofer because the 500/1 is a little weaker than we like to admit. i ran two 500/1s and a 300/2 in my last setup. i blew numerous treo ssi's and tsx's. the tsx can take a c2k 9.0 all day long, and the ss will take 1500 watts all day and night. underpowering doesnt kill, but massive clipping does.
