colossus too mcuh for 06L7s?

hmmm....itd be very close. it probably does about 3400-3500 real power...the XX series does a bit more than rated power. L7s are a popular sub to blow so you'd have to be very careful giving them 1700-1800 a piece. Make sure you get metered if you do that because I know they'd f'n wang.

well.. i dont know

i saw a review of a gen xx goliath that did 4700 @14.4 and theyre rated for 5000.

but when you get to that kinda power im not so sure youd notice 300 watts anyways. a meter might.....

to the thread starter... be careful with em. keep gains low.. you should be able to tell when theyre maxed out anyways

Idk...maybe only some of them do....I know Pete of Team Toxic Bass has 2 collossus's putting out around 8000 RMS, of course I'm sure he has a 15-17 volt system. And everyone I've asked before I bought my herc said they've been benched and did rated at 12.6 and 2200-2400 @ 14.4v and i think everyone'd agree if I said the XX series is definitely hifonics's top shelf so I kinda assumed that they all did a bit more than rated on a somewhat decent electrical.
