IDmax help....

I've got 2 12" IDMAX V2's in a 1.2 sealed dual chambered box on an nine.1 @ 1 ohm. LPF is set all the way at the bottom, 35 I think, gain is 1/4 up, everything else is set all the way down. I'm getting more of a mechanical sound coming out of them then a musical sound. I've had IDv.3's and IDQ's, and they sounded awesome, really musical. Another thing is that my front stage doesn't blend in with the subs at all whatsoever, they sound very very distant, and I can't put my finger on what it could be. phase? on amp usually there's the phase thing 0-180 degrees.

Duno about the mechanical sound tho, mine sounded great till I blew them up. I got my brother IDQ's so I know what those sound like too.

Turn your LPF up to about 80 hz.

I actaully did both those things, and it made it worse. I'm thinking maybe the box is to small??

IDmax's are notorious for being out of alignment, search the subject and see what you come up with bro

My V.3 is out of alignment right now. I need to get it reconed.

My v.3s were fine till I fauxed them up, but it was my fualt.
