tinting a windshield is awesome as you will not have any windshield cracks. chips yes but they will/should not crack. do 50% and you cannot tell that much from the outside.

Interestingly enough, my boss has his windshield tinted.

I don't understand why you would tint it. It's illegal here anyway.

I want it mostly for looks, and also to keep peepers from seeing what's inside. It would also keep the interior cooler. Right now when I park my truck, I have to put a sun deflector up.
