College!

I always wanted to see what his truck would do on the meter. I think your right he probably metered and did want to post his 150db again after spending all that money.
Thought his truck was more of a ground pounder than meter beater. Supposed to be busy doing his thing at school.

True but you atleast got to meter to see if you gained anything after spending 6 k or more on it ? Especially after all the money he spent the first time and thought it was loud and turned out to be 150?

Oh ya I didnt mean it in a bad way. I liked his posts and enthusiasm, honestly really wanted to see what it would do after the huge upgrades. I always tried to be positive with him and any others i converse with in the forums.

Mo fo where you been ? How is school treating you ? 153.9 is pretty sweet ! Got me beat my best was 152.6 . You change it up anymore or still the same ? Probably no time with school and all huh ? Best of luck to you bud and drop by time to time.

School is shitty. I'm sitting in a Calc 2 lecture right now. Mechanical engineering classes are way harder than I expected.

I was planning to start gutting my truck this weekend and prep for my next build.

My truck's transmission is slipping, so I'm going to swap a 4L80e in it after it's gutted. I'm having charging system issues that I need to figure out. I charge at 13.7v now for some reason. Don't drop below 12.7v at full tilt though. The batteries are old, but still sit above 12.6v after my truck wasn't driven for a couple months. Going to pull them all out and load test each individually. I plan to switch to Lithium when I get enough money. I met somebody from JY power at a show in Des Moines. I really want to cut down on the weight I'm hauling.

I'm doing a welded steel cage for my next build. The plan is for this to be the last enclosure I have to build in my truck. I'm going to build the back, top, left side, right side, and bottom all solid together. On the front edge, I'm going to have flat squared angled steel so I can bolt on and easily swap baffles/ports. I'm going to try different things with the Wardens and Soundrive subs. Eventually, I plan to try the new Fi Team series.

Lots to come. I'm going to make a really detailed video build log this time, and my uncle (who is a carpenter for a living) is going to be helping me with the wood-working so it's prettier than my last builds. He has a giant wood shop on his property with every woodworking tool you could think of. He has a lot more attention to detail than me.

It has been a long time, lol. Who are you again?

Ya I never was much for school lol ! I bet its freakin tough ! Well cant wait to see your new build ! One thing I always liked about you is all your enthusiasm and big azz goals ! Your build will prob hit 160 this time and look good doing it too. I bet your uncle teaches you a thing or two about carpentry as well. Dude I am going to ask you one more time and with all your charging issues why not use one alt strictly for truck and the other three only for stereo ? I only (only?) have three alts and mine are only 2 singer 270 s for stereo and one Js 200 for the truck. I never drop below 13.5 and am almost always at 14.3 normal listening simi loud and I only have 4 gp 31 batterys. Think about it you have what 4- 370 alts and 30 batteries ? I forget what exactly you had but you know what I mean ? I know your drawing alot more current than me like twice the power and half the ohm load but you have twice the alts power only running three and 10 X the baterys ? Try it for a bit and see ? It would end your charging problems. Best of luck to you and keep us posted on new build. Pm me some time !
