Why does that matter? Was there lead in the sand?

He is making an inaccurate assumption that his batteries are heavier than the sand but it's irrelevant because they have record that tows much more than 10k

I have a friend that drives a wrecker for a company.. There isn't a vehicle he can't take with his flat bed. I mean any daily truck or car... Not a tank or 40ton military truck but daily drivers.

Cuz there was the same amount of lead as sand, but lead is more dense. Therefore, the batteries weighed more.

Trust me they gave wreckers that can tow your truck. Lol Anyways removing the ecu is a good idea.

Yes, with a "flat bed" (rollback), you can take just about anything. The problem with those is they can't fit in tight places like the parking lot because there's not enough room to slide the back.

You people are not creative enough four small hacks on rollers under the truck will lift it quick and you can move it quite easy. Roll it back and turn it the load on flat bed done in less than 5 mins. I've seen it done so it will work.

Yeah, you can disconnect the shift linkage.

Still, nobody with a rollback is going to steal my truck. I was most worried about poor kids breaking my window, cutting the bed cover, and trying to rip stuff out with a Philips screwdriver as their only tool.

Plus, the cameras all over campus would see the rollback and get plates. It's not like there are a ton of rollbacks in the area....

I like how everyone turned this into a cops and robbers thing. Most common scenario, some drunk dude is going to "try" to **** in your gas tank. The worst case is hacking into the bed or smashing a window.

Solution is to not make people hate you enough to do an of that. Don't screw your roommate's girl, don't mess up your neighbors dorm, and don't puke in the bathroom commons. And most of all, don't blair music when parking.

Play rules with everyone and stay aware.

Now... on to the party pictures. Everyone looks at you're garbage threads to be entertained. Screw this paranoid crap and get on with it.
