The ECU is under the battery up front. I re-located mime when I installed my quad alt bracket. It's now held in place by a bolt and wing nut. Two electrical plug clips, and it's out.

Call your insurance company and ask what it would cost to insure whatever value you have in audio equipment in the car. You may need receipts or some sort of proof of value. Might be worth it for peace of mind.

As others have said, if someone really wanted your stuff your car would be gutted and burned within an hour or two and GPS would only help you get a burnt out skeleton back.

Well, I just ordered some 12v GPS trackers with internal backup batteries. They're small enough I could actually put them inside my 7k's and just tie the + and - wires into the amp terminals. Then I'd put loctite in the back plate screws. Then I could at least get $4,000 in amps back

Insurance will cover broken windows. If they cut the sub cones, the motors and baskets will retain value and I can get 8 recones for a decent price.

The regular helicopters you see at hospitals wouldn't be able to lift it. It would take a Nighthawk or bigger military helicopter

Any ideas on how to prevent the whole truck from being dragged up onto a rollback? As of now, that's the only way I see my shit getting jacked.

He always parks next to me. I could get a heavy duty padlock and we could each have a key. A chain can be cut with a grinder, but it wouldn't be quick. It's a busy parking lot with people coming and going even at night, so I would think someone would see someone grinding on the chain as suspicious....

GPS trackers should be here in three days, and I will check the location three times a day. It's got an internal battery backup in case they disconnect all my batteries.
