Collectors of SQ amps

Anyone collect high end SQ amps like Zed's and Macs? If so, what do you think of Zed's newer line? I should be getting quite a few of them but I only need to push 100x4 and then a Fi Bl (I know... No sq there lol). Which would be best to look out for to keep for my collection?

I have had most of Zeds lines from ESX to Autotek and Hifonics. Not as efficient as once was. The last Zed line I loved, had Draconia and Minilith, but new stuff I have heard has noises at some times.

I used to collect Linear Power, until I came to realize that there was nothing magical or mythical about them. The Ell Pee nuthuggers said I didn't give the brand a fair chance. I say that all 14 amps that I owned, ******* royally might I add, is more than enough chance. At least I didn't lose too much money when I sold those pieces of sheet off!

The Draconia and Minilith are great amps. I'm guessing you haven't heard the new Leviathan? Talk about a nice amp

To bad that Amp is not a Zed Build.

Same Build house as Crystal Mobile Audio and I think even Tsunami has a T Class with this board/Sink too Made in Korea.

I used to have 6 CAD600.2T Same as the Avionixx 1200.2.

Still a solid amplifier and 150.00 is a pretty low price for it already.

Yeah, the first run of the leviathan and kronos had some popping issues, but Zed fixed all of them and the 2nd run apparently doesn't have that problem anymore. From what I heard anyways, no personal experience.

i would not buy a class t amp......(the avionix amp)

if the tripath chip ever fails. (and they will) you cant buy them anymore...the company stopped making them years ago..

even if you do find one. its going to cost more than the amp is worth ..

That is very possible. I've spoken to him personally and he's been back and forth at the factory (working on something I suppose //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif) but he said all problems have been resolved for a while (since the initial ones were produced.

Well if I don't sell the new leviathan as BNIB that I'm getting soon, I'll do a review on them personally

Of the Zed Amps, arguably Autotek white mean machines were the best amps Zed designed for others IMO. Hifonics is equal to them IMO, but required external equalization to sound good and that's why I put Autotek higher. They both punch you in the *** about the same.
