Clipping?

That kid need to learn to use a few periods and commas, otherwise I can't even begin to attempt to read his posts... It just looks like a jumbled mass. To the OP, download Audacity, it's free. You can load files in there to see how baddly they are clipped, and at what spots. Unfortunately it would appear just about my whole collection is comprised of clipped recordings, it's a bummer. However, there is a way to fix clipping, there's videos for it on youtube. It takes like 5 minutes a song though so doing a whole collection is out of the question. I just did it with a few songs for demos.

why would mastering engineers who have been mastering for decades put out clipped songs,(comma) I guess they don't know what their doing. stop downloading these so called bass remix songs people make........ u can't just add bass to already mastered songs and expect it not to clip
