Clean amps for great seperates...?

Ok, how about a little help on a sub amp.

Right now I have 2 12" kicker comp vr's, the old hand stitched concave subs. I ran a JL 500.1 on them until i sold it and really like the way it hit. It was clean, (to me) and had plenty of impact and sustained power.

Should i stay to the suggested brand list you guys gave for the components? Are there more optuions?

IIRC, my subs are rated at 200rms...is this right?

Are the black series JL any different mechanically or just prettier?

clean, nice power.

just make sure you get an amp with plenty of power. That's how you get "clean" and "nice".

A 100x2 alpine or RF would be a much better option than a 50x2 elite brand.

I have to agree with you flakko. I'm staring at a MD43 right now, and boy it has a very nice old school US amps layout look and feel to it. Product looks solid.

Everyone always talks about the PPI ART and PC amps but I think the DCX line is great. Been running two of them for over a year and they are great. Clean power. I like them just as much as my old Eclipse amp.

wait, its a pcx line....how are these?

I figure i can buy big and turn the gain down so later if i want to upgrade i can.
