Clean amps for great seperates...?

I have a set of Focal K2's that im going to finally install. Need somethin with enough power but want clean, nice power.

Dont want to spend top dollar either..what are some options?

Dont really have a specific amount in mind and open to buying used also. I can get much better amp for the money if its used then buying new.

If i had to do new id say, ****, its not much but around 2 bills.

If money is no problem. For really clean pwr, SQ and good pwr. I like ARC, Zapco, Audison, Sinfoni, JL, Eclipse, USamps. I have used JL in the past and been extremely pleased. You could use a JL 300/2. Are you doing passive or active? Active for 2-way set-up I would go with 4 channel. If using passive go with 2 channel. I cannot remember are the K2 bi-ampable. If they are then you can go 4 channel with passive set-up or 2 seperate amps, 1 for midbass and 1 for highs.

i LOOOOOOVE my memphis. find youself an mclass 16-mc3004 or 16-mca3004. very nice quality and not too exspensive either

The Memphis 16-MCA2004 can be had for about $220 shipped, and the 16-MCA3004 for about $275 shipped on Ebay.

cool, thanks for all the options guys. Ill look around till i find a good deal, just didnt know what to look for, its been awhile.

BTW, the crossover included is a passive correct? ill probably just use that.

I just installed a Memphis MCA2004 in my car and it is very clean with a good amount of power.

If you have an inline crossover, this amp is one of the best component amps ever released. If I had the money I would buy it myself. In fact I have a PPI PC450 (built in cross over network) I would sell you for the winning bid price since I do have an FRX-456 inline x-over.

Are the black series JL any different mechanically or just prettier?
