Clay that can withstand high heat

I've done a good bit of searching around on this site and haven't found a solid mention of any clay that can withstand extreme heat. I live in Texas so I'm expecting the inside of my vehicle to get well above the normal 150 degree melting point. However If I am wrong (haven't tested the heat inside my car during summer) then please let me know.

Also, are they're any side effects of using this as far as it stinking up the place? I've seen a mention of other alternatives albiet rope caulk and the 3m strip cualk. I just worry about the smell and effectivness of said products.

Thanks in advanced

I used clay thinking that it would work.....I was wrong. It didn't melt, but it started to crack and deform. I say either find an alternative or just make a really good baffle. I just made a good baffle ot of 3/4" mdf and it works awesome.

Well I do plan on making a wooden baffle utilizing some of the spare 3/4" mdf I have laying about. However I've seen a number of people apply both methods (clay & mdf) with great results.

Thank you for your input though

Non-hardening clay.

Non-hardening clay.
As I mentioned earlier, all the clay I've looked at has a melting point of 150 degrees of less. If you know of a clay that can withstand higher themperature's please be more specific and provide a link or brand/model name.

I used duct seal on my doors. Though I can't find anything on its heat resistance, you'd think if it works on heating ducts it would be sufficient.
Thanks for the suggestion but doesn't duct seal harden?

Ha thanks for the input. I may have to go by Lowe's or Home Depot today and check that stuff out.

Anyone else have suggestions feel free to chime in

Alumilite makes a synthetic clay that will not melt in your doors.
I was actually just looking at the Alumilite synthetic clay. The only thing I worry about is the odor as I haven't found any reviews on this stuff yet
