Civic hatch wall build, 8k rms

thanks man, progress is progress its slowly but surely moving along
That's what I'm talking about!

Looks good, I like the subfloor, dont forget to double up.. and your right about building as much as you can outside the car, my wall is the same.. You make a stronger and better box that way. Obviously there will come a point where you have to build in the car though.

Your on the right track for a very successful build!

Decided not to use the false floor as one pics, still gomna cut it up and use it on the sides though. Test fitting the bottom of the box

Doin work

Box design, 10.13 cubes with the daily port at 31 hz

Box is double layered everywhere, gluing and screwing it together

Front face of the box cut, and plexiglass flushed in

What you will see turning around from the front seat, before round over

After round over

Gluin n screwin

Lol my friend tanner helpin me, holy screws?

Filling all the screw holes

Double baffle with a flush mount 3rd baffle

Time for a round over

This box had to be assembled inside the car, I don't have a keg jig so I had to screw it together from the bottom, I rested the bottom of the box on some cinder blocks and screwed it together. It ******* suckkkkkkked, the BS cut wood in the middle is where the removable fuel pump plug will bolt into, it was the only scrap wood I had lol so I made it work, want be seen and will do the job just fine so I'm not worried

My bullshiiiiiit rigged up "stand" for the box if you will lol

Box in

Sanded from 120, 220, then 400. Wood was soooo **** smooth it felt like glass, taped off, and ready for primer

Laying down primer

Taped off the car to primer the box

Me inside the box gettin some primer laid down

Top of the baffle primered

Second coat of primer

Finished off wetsanding the inside of the box with 400 and 600 grit, it was super smooth. Looking forward to paint:)

Prepping the baskets with bulldog adhesion promoter, these were sanded with 400 grit

Mixin up that purp

Good friend of mine, Cj sprayed the baskets and box for me, he did an amazing job

After the first coat

Second coat

Base color done

No clear

No pics of the clear at the moment, 5/8 all thread in place

Was such a pain in the *** to do this, should've done it before I started painting but didn't think about it

Trim panels in, leveling and smoothing it all out so it looks to be one piece

iPad dash and rear of the box getting prepped for purple

Aluminum bars on the ampere amps, I painted the under sides of them do that if I ever sell them the top will still be factory, there will be white vinyl "ampere audio" stickers on these

iPad dash

Outside of the box is all glossy black

Box done

Just need to build a rear trim beauty panel, for the back and the floor, along with my 3 ports and it will be done. The floor will be carpeted, and the rear beauty panel and port will be painted to match the box

Still need to build my amp rack, finish my doors, and build the subs, etc. So still some work to do but it's coming right along
