is that the only cc or best buy in the area. where i live i have at least 3 of each within a 10 mile radius. someone has to have the kit, and the time to install it for you today.i was in a time crunch. I told them to go to best buy and get it for me because im not gonna go driving around and buy stuff THEY should have had in the store. But they absolutely wouldn't so i just went. And then i demanded that they went and gave me my money back for the part I bought at best buy because it wasn't the right one but they also refused. Bunch of assholes, i seriously feel like beating the shit out of the manager with how he dealt with (or didn't) my situation.
never mind. its still easytoyota 4 runner. I really didn't wanna deal with all of it doing it myself to be honest. And ive never done it before and i really dont want the 1st to be my dads car.
You refer to them as they like circuit city is a personyea but they completely screwed up my situation by not selling me what i needed, and then told me to get lost basically. They could have delt with it much better. They didn't even apologize.I used to work at Circuit City and i never allowed someone to leave the store pissed off and feeling like they were being screwed over.
Quite simply, CC nor BB doesn't care. They're just there to "earn"a paycheck BUT they're supposed to learn whatever dept. they're working in. That's why I look online for vehicle info for spkrs, aftermarket cd player radio kits, etc. Then do it yourself, as others' here have mentioned. So much easier and don't gotta deal with those numbnuts.

I agree, that location handled things a little awkwardly....BUT you can't possible expect any retail store to return something you purchased an another retailer.
It's simply not going to happen.
I checked here in GA and the dash kit is also special order for us here....although we have one here on our shelf.
Some CC locations have very well experienced installers that believe in treating the customer right.
i would of walked when they said they didn't have all the stuff to do the install. there's so many stores nowadays that sell/install radios, it would of been much more practical to just go to another that had everything on hand and give them your business.
"we don't have a dash kit for your car"=bad sign=walk out.
the standard Toyota kit is a nothing more than a pocket. Any shop that doesn't have a pocket in should be shot.A lot of places seem to "run out" of those toyota kits.
Shit, in my (now extra) vehicle, no local place had one.So I just installed the radio with the tape player still below it lol.
