Finally got a minute to reply. I had 8pm flight out to Salt Lake City last night for work today.
Thanks to all who came to show. Very impressive numbers, but more importantly great competitive sportsmanship. Everyone open to help each other out. Hunter busted out a 160.3 in his Mazda. Can't wait to get my Mazda back and see what it will do. Big Mike, Josh, Drew, Tom, Travis, Will, Dave, James, Pete, D Angelo all put up good numbers. Sorry Steve that you had problems. I wanted to hear your van. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the show. I had so many cars entered in the car show(225) that it was a wild day. We had stereo competitors from Las Vegas, Farmington, Raton, NM; Denver; Fort Collins; Colorado Springs; Rocky Ford; Trinidad; Colorado City; Penrose. I will post results next weekend when I get home from SLC.
I'll let you all know if I will be doing another show in Denver in June. Same format and number of divisions. Cost will be $20-$25. Travis, I have not heard of another show in Canon, but I am open to doing one. I charge $300 to do a show(Just to cover the costs of the trophies) and I keep the entry money to pay for my travel expenses. I did 4-5 shows last year in Colorado and McCook, Nebraska. I will be doing a show in July at Midwest Audio in Scottsbluff, NE.
