Choosing the best amp

I am going to start saving to get 2 12" SE series subs from RE Audio. The subs are 600watt RMS and i was wondering how many wattage amp should i get?

get Dual 4s and get an Audioque 2200 =] or if u worried about blowing them get an Audioque 1200d.. it will give them 600 each

so dont even worry about the peak power of the subs, just worry about the RMS of the subs? and get a 1200watt amp to power those both?

I really wish people would search, i JUST answered a near exact question....

An amp that does anywhere from 1400-1800 @ 1 ohm will be good. Some amps that are good that do that are the Hifonics bxi2006d or 2008d (overrated and does about 1600), sundown saz 1500, and audiopipe 1500d. Setup correctly, the SE's will handle 750 no problem. Peak numbers mean nothing.

You'll need two D4 subs to wire to 1 ohm.
