Choosing subs

Ok...i was just wondering what would be the best buys?

Eclipse, Alpine Type R or anything else??

my limit is about 200(US) with a little leeway so i was wondering what would be the best buy for the $$ and perhaps even an amp to power this! thanks

200 american.....

actually about 350 canadian is what i was going for......just for the subs......not the amp.....

just 2 prefferably 12" subs

the amp....i am looking to spend maybe about 250 canadian...but whatever will power it right?

2 alpine type r 12's off ebay for 212 (i don't like these though jl wayy better)

mtx 8000's 2 10s very nice

i can pick up 2 12' Type R's for 325.....

and the eclipses i can get for 340 but they are 10's

so money isn't that much of a deal it just depends on what people are selling used and stuff.....tons of people in van are selling their stuff to upgrade so i might wait till after xmas.....hmmm...

I would look into Adire Audio Tempest if you have the room for it there pretty sweet woofers.

Go to ebay and find an eclipse alum. They are better than the ti's and you can find one for 200 shipped. You cant beat that deal. You could go with a ED(edesignaudio.com) or a blueprint (missiondigital.net) driver, too. Dont go with MTX or Alpine.. name brand but bad subs.

Just wanted to say that the MTX 8000's & Alpine Type-R's are NOT bad subs, they just won't get as loud as everyone would like them to. However, they do sound good at "lower" volumes.

Thats pretty good...here they go for ~$200-$200 each.
