either are great subs. the W6V2 is considered by many to be a better "sq" sub (ain't that a funny contradiction) than the W7, but they are both fantastic.

yes,1000 watts is too much for the w6. But, I plan to use w6 with less gain..well 1000 watts is too much for the w6 i believe. and you cant get two since your amp is only 2 ohm stableso i'd just get the w7, as big a one as you can afford/fit

just get the biggest dub 7 you canyes,1000 watts is too much for the w6. But, I plan to use w6 with less gain..w6 as sound quality will be w7 ?

x2 i agree with this.
lms's are unbelievable, and i say that after listening to a w6v2 and an RL-p.
i prefer the LMS because each freq. the sub hits is almost the same exact volume
my RL-p and w6v2 seem to peak at certain freq's. *in my case all subs are sealed @ roughly .700qtc
