Choosing my subs

Hey Im quite new to the whole car audio scene. Right now I have a Dodge Ram 1500 Ext Cab (01) and Im trying to get 2 subs in right now. I have yet to buy them and thats what Im in the process of doing, Id like to spend a little less than 400 on the 2 subs. Im looking to get 2 10s that can produce at least 1000W of power... I would really like to have SQ...

I have looked at a few and a couple possibilities are...

Pioneer Premier TS-W2504SPL Competition-Level SPL 10” Component Subwoofer ... (Whys it Compontent Sub?) They look good for $130 RMS of 800... (Assuming Nominal Power Handling is the same as RMS)

Also Ive seen the Infinity Kappa Perfects... (180 ish) only 400W though but they are apparently pure SQ which is something Id like...

Alpine SWR-1042D - Is that any good? Its cheap and has 50-500 RMS...

Also my friends was talking to me about Elemental Designs? They gotta good prices but I dont know bout their over all quality...

Any help, oppinions, or advice appreciated

Any particular reason you want a pair of subwoofers?

Would you consider the possibility of one higher quality subwoofer rather than a pair of more mid-level subwoofers?

And how much room do you have to work with? That will play a big part in the determination of what subwoofers will or won't work for your application.

Lastly, do you presently have an amplifier, or will the amplifier be purchased based on your subwoofer selection? Need to know if the subwoofers need to be of a certain impedance or not.

maybe a pair of RLI 10s or TC 1000s

Lol the only real reason I guess is the looks

But uhh... yah no amp yet because I havent bought one yet... I have a total of 670 to go with N i figure I can get a JL 1000/1 or maybe 2 500/1 left over...

And I have very little space Im gonna try and find the dimensions for the rear seat of my truck im estimating... 11" of height 18" width... 8" depth? on each side... in the middle theirs bout another 18" but its a heigh of 6 I figure I can put my amp/s there.... Ill try and find a diagram right quick

$670 total - 400 is subs = $270. Gonna be alittle short on the 1000/1, and 2 500/1 would be even more.

I know I can get Pioneer Premiers for 130 a piece being 260 leaving 410...

IDK which of those subs is best though... cuz ill be gettin more money with my next pay check I jus want to get my subs now... unless i should be getting an amp first then Ill get it...

do you want to spend $400 on an amp and then $300 on 10's?

IDK I just want a good system... I would not mind having money left over...

But What should be bought first sub or amp? And are the Pioneers any good... if not the Alpines...

Or maybe I should just get those perfect kappas....

the type r's or get a little more for the tc 1000, but the type r's would be really good
