choosing 8" budget subwoofer for 2 channels of JL audio 300/4

the system is in the my vehicle now with 1pc 12" subwoofer but.. i want to have more room so i want to replace 12" subwoofer with an 8"..

i dont want to spend too much on my car audio.. just a simple system better than factory's will be good enough for me

how about the infinity 860w? its around the same pricerange...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif but i think.. my amp will have a hard time powering that subwoofer right..

maybe an RE is good enough?

I have the infinity 860W . I was surprised. They are very well made . I was running an Audiopipe apsm 1300 feeding them and they were loud to say the least. I thought I was upgrading with a memphis amp 500.1 and 2 sundown SA-8 .. I guess I needed more amp for the sundowns , because the infinity's were far better sounding with the apsm . I had custom built tuned boxes for them .

I actually went back to the Infinity's running off an Aura amp . I plan on running 4 of the infinity in my CRX and putting the Sundowns in my 65' Mustang.

I have a video of them running, lets see if I can load it up.
