Sold choice of amp??

Hey Guys,

I need help on choosing an amp...I have changed my whole idea and Im going to run 4 kicker comp c10's they are 125rms at 4ohms. I was wondering what would give me the best power to get the most out of my subs? I was looking at the jbl p180.2 per pair at 90.2 at 4ohm or the jbl 300.1 at 150rms 4ohms......can you help please and Im open to suggestions on amps please help??

get the jbl 1200.1

so you are running 600rms

to match your 125X4 rms of your subs

i was always told to match the rms values by a lot of people who

knew their stuff about car audio

to be safe i wouldn't run it at full power so you put like 500 rms

into the system (not that you can actually tell but guage it)

and it also depends how you wire it to 1 ohm , 2 ohms, 4 ohms , 8 ohms etc...

the comps are 125 rms at 4 ohms so how would I wire it for the best output??

well the resistance is determine

by two formulae

rs= ra +r b

if wired in series

1/rp= 1/ra + 1/rb if parallel

so if you got 4 subs

lets say you want 1 ohm.

you wire all of them in parallel

lets say you want 4 ohms 1)----------2)

wire each pair in parallel like so : ----- ----------------

3)-----------4)\

so that each pair is in parallel but the two pairs are in series at the end

so your 1/rp=(1/4+1/4)= 1/2 , therefore rp=2 for each pair

and you rs=4 ohms

Yea I got the w7 kinda...I mean its mine, but I plan on trading it for 3 alpine 1041d type-s subs......why wassup??
