The Lightning was one of their better truck products and yet, like all good vehicles it seems, it disappeared.

Of course, you don't make money off of good performance vehicles. You make money selling blaise trucks at inflated prices or shitty sedans with huge margins because they're made so poorly. And to me, that seems to be the way Ford and GM have been looking the last few years.

Dodge trucks = The poops!! I don't know to much about there cars so I can't say. Buddie of mine used to own a 03 Ford 350 (non-dully) with the 7.3 diesel. He later bought a 03 Dodge 3500 with their largest diesel engine in it. He has a Bully Dog chip for it and still thinks his old Ford had more torque and better towing ability. He will admit that with the chip, that Dodge is fast!!! With it chipped hes at or around 900hp and 1000-1100 torque. He also had a lot of trouble with the Dodge, lots of little things that went in the cab and stuff. Needless to say, his next truck will be a Ford!

A cummins in a dodge is like a twinkie left forever in its wrapper. Great little motor but the wrapper its in sucks, just like twinkies, they will last longer than their wrapper if left to just decompose lol. I'm a ford guy through and through, but the sound of those cummins is just soo sweet.

Gas... Chevy > Ford > Dodge....driveline is TRASH...Diesel... Chevy is #1 for the transmissions (Allison) and Dodge is #1 for the engines, and Ford...sorry, bottom of the barrel. If Dodge would have better drivelines, they'd be higher than ford in the gas area as well, but GM remains at the top.
You are a fcking moron. Chevy diesels are pieces of sht. Go look and see how many 90 model diesels are still running around, now go compare that number to Ford diesels in the same age group. And dodge is the best for engines? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

To say you like a body more than an engine, shows that you really dont know shit about the car
But, if you're taking about what the body is constructed of, then you're good

Huh? Im not exactly sure how you got that out of my quote, but ok.

i prefer performance rather than looks, so since its a battle between chevy and ford, my votes for ford. Chevy makes there shit look hawt but the performance is piss, dem lil SRT4 neons pwn the shit outa LS1 and LS2 vets...not counting lingen though...lawl

Ford heavy duty trucks can't be beat (ex. 6.0 Lit Turbo Diesel). We used to pull out with a loaded 15k dump trailer on the back and hit 90mph before you could blink. Our 7.3 couldn't compare. The Ford Focus isn't bad. For everything else I prefer Chevy.

Neither. Save your money and buy a decent vehicle.
What do you propose to pull 15,000+lbs safely and comfortable and last a good 10+ years and 300,000 miles?? Will be nice to know I will go and test drive one tomorrow.
