ZUNE vs. IPOD

I have a 30 gig ipod. I hate Itunes, and when thisone stops working, im gona try a zune. not to much realy against ipods, besides everybody has them.

Yah, i got a vid ipod, and im pissed at how hard it is to get vids on their for free ( obviosuly somewhat illegal), pisses me off...

You can update an Ipod's firmware to support FLAC, I don't know if the same is true for the Zune...

Reason enough for me to select the Ipod over it, but I still have no real desire to get one yet. Maybe if the Touch gets an extra ~100GB or so of space...

I have a 16gb Itouch. Love it.

My dad has a zune, and it can't compare. Sound Quality is about equal, but the fact that it just is so much nicer, it doesn't even compare.

also you can load Rockbox onto the iPod, which adds a huge ammount of customizability. I'm just hoping once the SDK comes out that someone will come out with a frekin custom EQ!

Indeed, that's the support for FLAC and I believe OGG, could be wrong about that though...

But 16GB is nothing @ ~300MB per album //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

oh no I wouldn't recommend a touch for that, I'd get the big classic if you wanted to use FLAC.

it does add OGG too. But for the average person Mp3+AAC will work just fine.
