First off, there is no remote turn on off a factory headunit.

You'll have to wire up your amps remote terminal up to the fuseblock. With a voltage tester or multimeter, find an open fuse spot that becomes "hot" when the car is turned on. That way when you have the car on, the amp can be on, but once you turn the car off the amp will automatically shut off just like an aftermarket headunit.

Now for the RCA's. DO NOT hook up the RCA's to the speaker wires. THIS WILL BLOW SHIT UP! What you want is a "high-to-low" RCA convertor. These can be had at best buy, circuit city, etc. It turns your high level speaker signal into a low level RCA signal. All you do is splice in the convertors wires onto a set of speaker wires. Wire taps (such as THESE) would be the easiest way to accomplish this.

OR

You can combine your two necessities into one easy pacakge by purchasing a line out convertor that has a built in remote trigger. How this works is once the LOC detects an input signal, it will trigger the remote turn on, thus turning on your amp.

Here's one that would work for you: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5285_PAC+TRUNK-LOC.html

just pulled up diagram for 06-07 trailblazer with bose and it shows one and lists it as late model cars only when they changed amp style to the non databus one

theres is no turn on wire might be able to tap a windshield whiper or seat heater fuse for turn on and use a standard LOC
i was thinking on wiring the remote to the battery..or just right next to the (+)of amp that works to right?..

Well, you have to have the remote terminal hooked up to a source that turns off when you turn the car off, otherwise the amp will always be on.

The easiest way to do it is to tap into the fuseblock on a spot that is hot when the ignition is on, and off when the ignition is off.

or i could also wire it to the power wire on the hu....and everytime i turn the car on or the hu the amp will turn on right?
