I wanna run 1 4000 or 5000w amp in my car. Could I pull it off with 1 HO alt from Mechman(150 idle, 200 running), and a few extra batteries.

I wanna run 1 4000 or 5000w amp in my car. Could I pull it off with 1 HO alt from Mechman(150 idle, 200 running), and a few extra batteries.

i have an autotek 4k and two hifonics 2ch amps running on two kinetik 2400's, a kinetik800 under the hood, and a mechman 250amp alternator.

And i can run full tilt at idle and stay above 12 volts (13 most of the time, but there are a couple songs that drop me a bit lower)

mechman makes a solid product. With a decent battery bank, you will have zero problems.
