today i get the bumper, but i have to decide if i am onna do the entire front end or not because i dont have fenders yet, but i kinda wanna see what it looks like

got the rest of my paint finshed today. And the engine almost completely done. just need to find out how to take out the lifters and cam. Also got the headlights from ups. look super sexy. will have pics of all work tonite

well fedex just got one of the nastiest calls ive ever made because they didnt deliver my bumper today. i could understand if it was during the snow but it was fine today.

well im really really really pissed. my primer and black paints went on great, buuut my clear may have been a bit old and decided to not dry (in 24 hours even) and is like glue now. so idk what im gonna do with the long bumper filler, but for the emblem i just started over. So i have some pictures, but that cost me a lot of time, also my bumper didnt come so it was a good and bad day. pics uploading now

the cam is sorta difficult to get out if the cam bearings need replacing. I put my pulley back on and wedged a screwdriver between the block and the pulley and kinda wedged it out or whatever. I think it was a pulley, can't even remember.

For the lifters, you need new ones. Use a wooden dowel and punch them out with it, and a hammer. from the bottom.

didnt even think of the dowel rod and hammer. also my painting wasnt a total loss. for some reason the bumper dried enough to the point where i can sand it.

Dude, I can't believe i just found this thread. Do you have the grill on yet? That black grill with black lights is going to be meaaaan! So sexy! Are you planning on giving it a little lift, or making it a street machine?

EDIT: If your not driving it everyday yet, go ahead and throw the grill in. f it. sucks about the filler dude. Since you are going to have it painted anways, why not jsut put it all together, and let the shop paint it? That's what i am doing.

actually the paint came out great. put it inside today while i was at school and it cured perfectly probably cause i put a VERY light coat on. building beings in about 5 mins. ill have pics for all to see !!! bumpers and corners came in so its time to rock and roll i have everything to rebuild, now to get new fenders!!!
