didnt even think of the dowel rod and hammer. also my painting wasnt a total loss. for some reason the bumper dried enough to the point where i can sand it.the cam is sorta difficult to get out if the cam bearings need replacing. I put my pulley back on and wedged a screwdriver between the block and the pulley and kinda wedged it out or whatever. I think it was a pulley, can't even remember.
For the lifters, you need new ones. Use a wooden dowel and punch them out with it, and a hammer. from the bottom.
