finished all the hard work and sprayed first full coat of primer now just light sanding, probly 800 grit, than another coat than ill take pics.

well heres after one coat of primer, rough sanding, second coat of primer wet sand with 800. ill b sanding this again than anothery coat of primer wet sanded with 1500. than im done i believe. and there are a few spots that still need some work. but only a couple.

still need to sand it again. clean some areas up a bit. one final coat and sanding and im done with that side, than onto the back side which i will clean, prime, spray black and clear coat.

done for the day. still have sanding left to do, but i was done with it for today

but heres the problem i want to paint the other side of the fender, but with all the angles idk how to prep it for paint. i need to clean it up. i dont have access to a sand blaster, do u guys think a pressure washer would work to clean it up enough. if not what would work on this??

rent a media blaster from your local 'rent'a'tool' store. should be like $20 a day or something.

but whats up with the front tip of the fender? like right above where the headlight goes? i can see like paint layers underneath!?

yea thats one of the places i had to do some work. i still have to finish that up tomarrow as well as one other place. i need to sand it all down so i can blend it in. whats a media blaster?

yea there are. im at school right now tho. the truck is at the body shop right now gettin the non existant, cab corners and rocker panels rebuilt. after that its gettin paint, drop kit is at home waiting, 3/5 drop, long tube headders are already on. i play football in college so i havent had much time lately ill have an update with some pics for u in a couple weeks. i have 2 cars so this is not by any means going to be a fast build as u can already clearly see.

i made u wait like 6 months im sorry with a small update on top of that. i messed up on all the primer and painting i had done before and i ended up gettin new long tube headers. just got the truck running again a few days ago and tonite i got the etching primer on my bare metal panels. my grill and mirrors are getting painted as we speak. ive got a few pics and a vid of the truck finally running.
