hey fellas i am alive and will post more pictures after i take them tonite. I got the entire fron end off, got one of the hedders on, new headlight on, new mirrors on, cut out the old exhaust, and shes leavin for body tomarrow.

uploading pics now. but dont expect too much cause i did have mono for about 5 weeks, than sb, than end of senior year, now im workin 60 hours a week so i dont get to work on her much ne more, but she is goin to body shop tomorrow!

finally got fenders. one needs a little lovin so imma take before and after pictures this evening. some work will finally start gettin done to the truck again!

Honestly bro, you should of had that block media blasted. Or the other option is sell the old cast iron block and upgrade to an aluminium LS1 like i am doing for my 97 z71. The loss of a couple of hundred pounds and gaining EFI is bad ***.

Is that engine a TBI?

the block will be all cleaned up. it has yet to go to the machine shop and ill have them do all that stuff. i dont have the money for an ls1 or else i would do it, but ill be building the engine slowly as money allows

oh and im goin out to start on the fenders now so pics will be up later, but this is my first attempt ever at body work, the fenders arent bad at all but they def need some tlc

after about an hour of sanding and scraping and a lil love heres the white fender now. still a lot to do on this fender but im starting from the bottom up.

thanks. u can still see the lines from where i put down tape, but i wa sjust makin sure no dirt or rust could start up again on there so i primered it real fast. i should be able to finish both fenders toamrrow. im just gonna primer it than let a real painter do the rest.

thanks. hopefully ill get some more work done tomrrow. the other fender dosent look all that bad, but has some areas. and i need to finish up the lines i left on the white fender and im gonna do some other stuff too, but ill show pics as i finish up. i finaly have all the parts and tools and supplies i need now if i could not be sick or injured for a while haha (wisdom teeth surgery) ftl
