Chevy Restoration.

I liked it better with the lights normal, not blacked out. Nice job though.

COVERED IN SNOW!?!??!!111/??1/ it will never be covered in snow. haha well it might b but it will never be parked outside over night especially in the snow! ive started worryin about getin traction when it does snow because the rear end is even lighter now and it was hard to get traction w the cap and bumper and spare tire

Thats what I was figurin //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Would be a shame to see it out in the snow for sure. Even worse, driving down the slushy salty roads //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

I remember those days lol. My current truck sucks in the snow like that too, just no weight out back to make it do anything but break loose and come around. My first truck though was super light and had beefed up leaf springs in the back which made it even worse. We poured a 1500lb concrete block for it one winter. It just leveled up the back end of the truck and it certainly helped in the traction department, but was a lot of weight to just get the thing to be drivable lol. Truck had a 300 straight six 4-speed and 4:10 gears, but such bad traction that I could spin the tires in the rain if I shifted into third just a little too hard in a corner.

Least you got the 4wd if ya need it, but hopefully the truck will never need it except for the some extra traction off the line.

Just felt like adding this comparison for the late comers.

The rest of the week i hope to deaden the cab and put in the new black carpet, paint the bucket seat frames and install those since i cant sell them. And start on making the center console. I also hope to polish and seal the rims, wash, clay bar, and wax the truck as well.

looking good. Won't be long and your gonna run out of stuff to fix/upgrade/clean up on this truck.

Should stop really nice now. Can't wait to see what ya do on the inside of the truck, and power upgrades come spring //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
