Chevy Cobalt SS

Someone I know has one of the supercharged ones that had a ****** problem which wouldnt let it go more than 10 mph. Hah had to drive down the highway with his hazards on to get to the dealership. The interior is complete garbage. Looks like one of those riced out interiors where they've taken random panels off, spray painted them without much prep, and put them back on.

As for the new turbocharged one, I've heard amazing things about it. 260hp/tq is nothing to laugh at. Plus its supposed to handle very well for a FWD car.

PS - what makes a gay little turbocharged VW any better than the cobalt? God **** VW fanboys.

i just said i wasn't impressed with it. for the reasons you stated exactly.

sorry im not impressed with a crap domestic chick car, with an interior that looks like it's for 3 year olds.

you could easily buy a used WRX for the price of a new cobalt

b5 s4's go for under 10k now.

i'd much rather have either one of those over a cavalier

Oh I'm sorry for being the only person on the forum with their car model in their name. :rollseyes: Redline has to do with my car club, but thats besides the point. The only decent VW is the newest GTI, and even that is still FWD. Anything more than a stage 2 tune from Revo with downpipe and intake and you're useless. If the Cobalt is the new turbo, I'd even consider it. The older one is garbage.

I will tell you one VW that's a POS. That's the bug. The girl I carpool with has one and pieces fall off of it all the time.

Srt4's are pretty quick stock. Even the '03's with weaker turbos are quick (for being a stock 4 banger that is)

05 gti 1.8t with a gt2871r.

but i work with 500+ hp audi s4, a 600 hp rs6, multiple 400hp+ vr6t's as well as a Lamborghini gallardo all day, so it takes quite a bit to impress me

Well I was inferring that no matter what you do to the car, its still a "chick car"

For example, I can take a 1990 Miata and put a meth injected, 455 hp engine in it and it will still be a chick car.
