Chevy 1 2 3

and what was this country founded on? i don't think John Handcock was planning on the ancestors of the people he fought for selling out this country... we aint ballz deep in a recession for no reason. I'm not layed off from the auto industry because people who live here, shop here... ya heard.
The American auto industry is struggling because they used to make shit cars. Don't blame toyota for making a superior project.

that being said, i have no problem buying American. That doesn't mean I'm not going to forgo research, because I want the best product for my money.

lmao. comparing stock car racing to america is quite a stretch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
sounds like something a nascar fan would try to do in an effort not to fit into the stereotype //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
I'm not really a big fan. I really started this thread to stir a little shyt. But I did cheer when number 20 went sideways. Dyck.

Did I blame anyone other than the people who buy the cars? Nope.

Spend your money on foreign cars and watch this country go further downhill. People are sheep, they will take down the greatest country in the world because they got "the best product for my money."

Look where this is going.....

Yes we should blame America for wanting the best quality product for their money. I'm not saying foreign cars are the that product, but the auto industry is the least of our problems.

When the entire war hates you, your in massive debt and have begun a war against a noun, you have bigger problems then having GM become the #2 largest automaker in the world.

Back to the point though, if you don't want the best product you can get for your money (whatever that is) your a incompetent moron.

nascar is always a good way to stir it up lol
im not a fan at all, but its a very lucrative market. and ill go to a race or any of the festivities when they are in town, they are always fun in person.
Absolutely. Camping for a long race weekend with a good group of people is priceless. The race itself is just what makes the occasion happen. The bottom of the bottle of Jack showing up on the first night is the best part... Speshaly when people start running around without clothes!

Eh, low to medium. I watched the last 80 laps or so today because it was on HD and my kid likes the cars. I've been to a Michigan event once a year for the last 6-7 years or so. But I don't plan my Sundays around it every week.

I don't disagree with buying tha best for ya $$$, but I hate seeing the country lose what it started...

Mmm hmm, because Toyota has no US plants that employ American workers with no other marketable skills.
Mmm hmm, matter of fact all foreign cars are made in their country of origin.
Ah yes, the 800 people in Texas(who may or may(probably)not be citizens/pay taxes) that are employed in the Toyota assembly plant( Putting together componets from overseas) make it all better. That just gets them out of paying more to bring the autos here. And the people at the top of the corporate chain are still overseas...

Just creating a stir for ya. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

In my eyes, it's overpaid basic labor that's killing the auto industry.

I'm not trying to make a generalization about ALL factory workers in the auto industry, but as I'm sure you know if you are/were one at one point, there are plenty of workers who take advantage of the companies they work for.

Going to the bar during work hours, "injuries" on the job followed by a year of paid vacation as they delay their surgery.

Making $26 an hour with benefits to... drive a hi-lo... Protected by the UAW, because you can bet your *** there'd be PLENTY of kids my age (18-20) who would LOVE a factory job working for the big 3 making even $10-$15 an hour, without benefits.
