check out the HT we're going to build

We had a tight storm today, so I took some pics when it was over (I wanted pics when it was going, but the tornado sirens went off and 50mph winds + 1k camera does not equal good), and I found some miscellaneous sub pics. Here ya are.

you have to hit the cut edges with a hot batch of resin or run a skim of filller and then a glaze over the entire box, then hit it with a block to get it to look like one piece../run-on

ill try to get some pics of the crap ive been building on and off for a while up tomorrow.

Inhuman, you're a life saver. I'll seal with resin on the next go around. How do you suggest that I sand it though? I've never worked with fiberglass (at least not where I've had to sand it), so would a regular sanding disk work?

Glaze is an automotive body filler. It's usually applied over bondo that's been sanded already but has some pinholes in it. Works really good and it's easy to sand. There's nothing to mix like bondo it's just in a tube. Never used it on MDF though, interesting idea. If you go to NAPA or an automotive paint supply store and ask for it they will know what you are talking about.

Mm, thanks darth, I'll look for it. BTW, how do you like your galant? Mine's a piece of shit and I'd be worried if something does NOT go wrong with it tomorrow.

I like the galant pretty good. Haven't had any issues w/ mine yet. Do you have a 4 or 6 cyl? I've heard the guys w/ 4's say they have a lot of issues. Really the only thing mechanically I've done to mine is replace a cam seal. It's not my dream car but I lowered it and put some wheels on it so it will hold me for a couple of years til I get my STi. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
