-250 watt plate amp

-12" SSA Icon

-2.2cuft. @ 32hz (temporary) Going in 4.2 cubes tuned to 28hz?

What you guys think for now?

Alright now I have a couple questions:

1.) I was wondering if these would blend well with my ARs for my rear surrounds.

Then later on (when budget is higher) I could mod the crossovers?

2.) Also, I have 3 stereo jacks in the back of my computer (orange, green, and black). I went to best buy and the person there told me it would work if I used one mini stereo to RCA. I tried that out and it sounds really really crappy. I tried changing the volume and equalizer settings on my computer but it still doesn't sound good to my ear. It's fuzzy, sound like my speakers are broke, and bass is all distorted. Do I need something else?

and AR speakers, nice to see people using them. They have a bad rep around here, and I don't know why...

I was thouroughly impressed with thoes speakers you were considering, if you buy them from best buy they should give you a 30 day refund. I say go get em and listen for yourself. That way you will know, if not return them.

Thanks, yea they sound great and have some great build quality. Best I could find for $128 shipped.

I would tune to 18-20hz if you're going to watch a lot of movies.
