Cheater's way to hook up a 4-channel diagram *pic*

On a factory amped system its even easier, all you have to do is hook the preouts to the factory outputs, and then find the amp and replace it using the factory wiring, If you dont want an amp its even easier.

that should be the standard way of adding an aftermarket HU|amps to stock radio|speaker system. Leaves the stock wiring in place and makes returning the stock radio easy.

The 'middle harness' trick also allows for LOCs and bass blockers to be installed easily.

if you are leaving stock hu in and using a loc then you would have to figure out factory speaker wiring huh? is the mach 460 system in ford's amplified or is it just a decal they put on there, lol ???

ummm the best way to do it if you are in a trunk car is like this....Hope this isnt your diagram, yours confuses me...

simple

i do believe it's amped.

Factory wiring is labeled on the harnesses, no rocket science necessary.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

^^^no so.

LOC= Line Output Converter. Takes speaker level down to RCA level. Leave the outputs as high as they'll go to get a good level to your amp and go.
I was just joking. I use RCAs from HU to amps, wire from amps to speakers. I understand the diagram, but have come across an application for it in my limited experience. I don't understand why someone would do it is what I am getting at.

leaves stock wiring intact is why i do it. I can put my stock HU back in, remove my amps and wiring and walk away.
